Is it very scary?

The ScareAtorium has one purpose: which is to be scary. It is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13.

Safety & Security

What are your rules and policy on touching?

We have ‘No Touch’ policies and all patrons must abide by posted and verbal instructions or may be ejected. Due to the nature of the attractions, there may be occasional brushes or incidental bumps.

Can I take pictures?

Photography or video is allowed outside but NOT allowed inside the attractions.

Can I wear costumes or masks?

Costumes are welcome, subject to security and safety policies. Masks may not be worn inside the attraction.

Can I be thrown out of the haunt for any reason?

No pets, weapons, alcoholic beverages, drugs, laser pointers or babies. It is not advisable to bring items easily lost into the attraction (like cell phones, purses, loose jewelry etc.), nor to wear high heels. The ScareAtorium is not responsible for lost articles.

Are fog machines or strobe lights used in the haunted attractions?

Fog machines and strobe lights may be used as well as other special effects.

Are there any health advisories I should be aware of?

DO NOT ATTEND if you have any medical conditions or are in any situations that may cause you an injury. DO NOT enter our attractions if you are prone to seizers or if you have ANY kind of respiratory conditions, especially asthma, or heart conditions. Do not enter if you have broken bones, casts or are pregnant (see warnings below).

Are the attractions handicap accessible?

Yes. We have special parking for handicap cars with the properly tagged plates. The crowds can limit the accessibility and safety of handicapped individuals, so it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes prior to opening times. Anyone with a handicap wanting to tour the attractions should let the ticket booth know of any special instructions or needs upon arrival. If you have a broken leg or other prior injuries or prior medical conditions, you should not enter the attractions, especially and specifically during peak hours. Please read and understand our warnings (below) prior to entry. Entry is AT YOUR OWN RISK.


ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Heed warnings before entering any of the attractions.

The ScareAtorium reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. You will experience intense audio, lighting, extreme low visibility, strobe lights, fog, moving floors and obstacles, special effects, sudden actions and an overall physically demanding environment. You should NOT ENTER a haunted attraction if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, prone to seizures, heart conditions, physical ailments, respiratory or any time of medical problem, or are pregnant or suffer from any form of mental disease including claustrophobia. DO NOT ENTER the attraction if you are intoxicated, wearing any form of cast, medical brace, using crutches, or have any type of physical limitations. Do not enter the attraction if you are taking medication or using drugs of any type. You will not be admitted if any of these conditions are to be noticed by our staff.

There are no refunds. Enter at your own risk. Do not enter if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, are prone to seizures, or have any type of mental, physical, respiratory, and/or medical problems.

Running, pushing, eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted inside the attraction. We request that customers refrain from vaping while at the ScareAtorium. There is NO touching of the actors, customers, or props inside the attraction. No video or flash photography may be taken inside the attraction. You will not be admitted or you will be asked to leave the property if any rules are not followed.

PROHIBITED! Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning but patrons may be asked to leave if any of the following apply:

  • You are caught videotaping or taking pictures inside the attractions
  • You touch any actors, props, or sets
  • You're wearing a mask on the premises
  • You have pets, weapons, alcohol, drugs, laser pointers, or little babies with you
  • You are caught using foul language, pushing, shoving, displaying vulgar behavior, etc.

Inadvisable items for patrons to bring to the ScareAtorium include anything that is easily lost. We do not recommend wearing high heels to our attractions. Please do not bring cell phones, purses, loose jewelry or other items with you.

Your ticket is a revocable license and may be taken and admission refused upon refund of purchase price. Ticket holders understand that there are inherent risks involved with attending the attraction. Ticket holders voluntarily assume all risks associated with the dangers associated with participation in the attraction. In consideration and acceptance of entrance into the attraction ticket holder agrees to release the operator, it’s parent corporations, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors and landlord from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly from attending any of the attractions.
